#977 Los Angeles Angels -115
2-Units (3:05 P.M. CST)
One of the biggest turnaround stories going has to be that of Oakland's Brett Anderson. Anderson struggled earlier in the season, seeing his Era jump to 6.03 at one point. However he has put together 3 solid outings over his last 3 appearances, and has seen his Era drop to a more respectable 4.64. The big question is how will Anderson do against a red hot Angels team that has scored 39 runs over their last 5 games. Let's not forget that the Angels faced Anderson back in May, chasing him out of the game in the 5th inning, scoring 5 earned runs while hitting .429 against the lefty. Anderson will be opposed by John Lackey, who pitches very well in his day starts, and will be facing an Oakland team that he has owned over his career, going 14-4 in 26 appearances. I am not sold on Oakland's Anderson just yet. If he shuts down this smoking hot Angels offense, then I will be a believer. I don't see it happening. Let's take the Angels as our West Coast Winner for Sunday!
Thanks and Good Luck.
