Ok,,,Dallas has now won 5 in a row,,,and yes I know those wins were against the 5 worst teams in the NBA!!! But they won the games they were supposed to win, and won them convincingly both straight up and against the spread, all by double digits! I also know that the Mavericks are 0-5 against playoff teams since acquiring Jason Kidd, but 4 of those 5 losses were on the road. Dallas plays very well at home where they boast a solid 29-4 record. Dallas has also shot 53% from the field in their last 5 games while holding their opponents to a steady 39.9% from the field. Gasol played just under 3 minutes for the Lakers in a 108-98 loss at New Orleans on Friday. With him out of the lineup teams will be paying more attention to Bryant, and it showed as the Rockets and Hornets both held the Lakers to Under 41% shooting from the field. The Lakers have lost 4 straight at Dallas, and with Gasol most likely not playing tonight, are in danger of making it 5 in a row.
